KY Will Book B p. 131 In the Name of God I ELIZABETH CROW do constitute and make this my last will and Testament being of sound mind and perfect memory. First after paying my funeral expences and Just debts I do desire that what estate I have shall be deposed as follows: First I hold the Note of my son BAZEL CROW for four Hundred dollars and perhaps he is indebted to me something besides. I do hereby divise and release the same to him and acquit him from all liability on that account or for any account of any thing else. 2nd I hold a Note or Notes upon my son in Law THOMAS Q. WILSON the precise amount not now recollected and he may be indebted to me otherwise. I do devise and release the same unto him and acquit to me otherwise I do devise and release the same unto him and acquit him of all liability. 3rd With what money may be due me from other persons and the money coming to me from Maryland which I have and do hereby empower and authorize C. A. WICKLIFFE to collect, I devise to be vested in the purchase of a Negro or Negroes and where the same be so listed I will the said negro or Negroes to my daughter ANN WILLSON during her natural life and after her death to her children and living and such of them as may be living at her death that is to all as well these now in being as any which they may hereafter have, It is my further desire that if every my son BAZIL shall for himself able that he shall give to my grandson JOHN C. CROW the money which he now owes me and from the payment of which to my representatives I have released him hereby appointed him Trustee and guardian to his son JOHN C. CROW so that he shall educate him with the same. It is also my further desire and request, that my son in Law WILLIAM if he shall be able to do so shall pay over to my two grand daughters ELIZA ANN WILLSON and SARAH ELIZABETH WILLSON the same aforesaid due by him of their ability to do and perform this request the said WILSON and CROW all to be the judges each in his own case. I give to my little gran daughter ELIZABETH CROW my set of Silver Table spoons. I also do hereby release emancipate and set free my old servant ALSE and should she live to become helpless I desire my son BASIL to see that she does not suffer for food and clothing. I give to my son SAMUEL my house Bible. I give to my negro woman afs’d my heifer which I bought of her some time ago. I give to my grand daughter LYDIA ANN ELIZABETH WICKLIFFE My Bed and furnature which I have at this time at her fathers. I give to my grand Son ROBERT WICKLIFFE my cott which I have heretofore given to him. I give to ANN WILLSON my daughter my riding Mare I sometime ago assigned to my daughter MARGARET WICKLIFFE the claim which I have against THOS H. WILLCOXON in controversy in Bullitt to wit the benefit of a Judgment assigned me by the admor. of my late Husband SAMUEL CROW this gift I do also confirm. Whatever other property I may have I desire to be equally divided between my four affectionate children MARGARET, BAZIL, ANN and SAMUEL. In testimony of this done and published as my last Will and Testament I have in this 19 Aug 1825 signed the same and caused it to be Witnessed in my presence at my request.
