In the name of god amen I Soloman Cornell of the County of Bullitt and State of Kentucky being weak in body but of a perfect sound mind and memory...his almighty god do hereby publish this my last will and Testament in manner...following that is to say after all my lawful debts is paid I give and bequeath unto Sarah Budd? my oldest daughter ten Dollars in trade at its real value. I bequeath unto my daughter Minibah? Kiger? fifteen pounds in trade at its real value. I bequeath unto my two grand daughters Jane Cornell, Marah? Cornell sixteen dollars in trade at its real value to be divided between them. I give unto Charity? Rupell? fifty cents. Also I bequeathunto my daughter Betsy McDade? fifty cents - I bequeath unto my daughter Phebe the negro girl named Rachel. I also bequeath unto my daughters Phebe and Polly the negro woman named Sarah and her child by the name of John to be equally divided between them. Also a man named Pigion? between them equal. I bequeath unto my son Soloman Cornell that part of my land beginning at Davis Hall line and running south a line made by said David Hall & John Clarke? ...I also bequeath...I give and bequeath unto my son Jacob Cornell the ... which I now live and all the farming utensils ...boy named Donnie?. I wish my beloved wife Elizabeth to have a sufficient living of the place and property ... and household furniture to her ... and two thirds of the use of my negro man Tom during her natural life and at her demise my son Soloman to have the negro man to use for his own property.
