(signed) JOHN GLENN In the presents of JESSE WILLSON L. PEACOCK NATHANIEL (X) LANDERS or SANDERS (his mark is over the first letter of his last name - it may be LANDERS because Nathaniel SANDERS usually uses his middle initial?) Recorded 5 Nov 1821 Bullitt Co. KY Court I don’t know much about this group but know that there is a marriage for Solomon BAKER to Louisa Ann CARPENTER 25 Jan 1825 in Bullitt Co. - Louisa is described as “the daughter of Elanor GLENN, late Elanor CARPENTER”. I don’t know who Mr. CARPENTER was. I know there was an early Thomas, Michael and Joel Carpenter but none of them will fit because Joel dies a year after this is probated and Thomas and MIchael are at the sale so I am stumped. the son William Owen GLENN (named above) m. Elizabeth BRAMEL, daughter of Nathan BRAMELL 234 Nov 1842 in Bullitt Co. - married by Geo. L. ROGERS, Methodist Episcopal Church There was a John GLENN on Nolin Creek in early Hardin Co. with a wife named Abigail. The 1810 shows his count 11101-11301-00 which doesn’t seem to match the children named above so I doubt its the same man but perhaps some relation.
