Welsh Will Book 'J' page 212 & 213 Last Will and Testament William E Hibbs I William E. Hibbs of Bullitt County and State of Kentucky being of sound mind and disposing memory and calling to mind the uncertainty of life and being desirous to dispose of all such worldly estate as I am possessed of, I give and bequeath the same in manner following, that is to say, I first want all of my just debts and burial expenses to be paid out of my estate, 2nd After my just debts and burial expenses are paid I want my beloved wife Emerine Hibbs to have all of my estate both real and personal to do with as she may so proper - I desire that she shall sell and convey all or any part of my real estate if she so choses to do so and to use the proceeds as she pleases, and at the death of my beloved wife if there is any of my estate left I desire that the same be divided between my daughter Marthy F and her son David D. Graves share and share alike. I desire that my grandson David D Graves shall my Silver watch at such time as my beloved wife believes that he has arrived at the age to know how to take care of same and lastly I do hereby appoint my beloved wife executrix of this my last last Will and Testament without any Bond being required of her for the same. In witness thereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this September 9" 1896. Signed and acknowledged as and for the last Will and Testament of the above named William E Hibbs in the presence of J.F. Swearingen J.T. Harmon State of Kentucky Bullitt County I, W.B. Tilden Clerk of the Bullitt County Court, do certify that on Jany 11" 1897 the foregoing last Will and Testament of Wm. E. Hibbs was produced in Open Court and proved by the Oaths of J. F. Swearing [sic] and J. T. Harmon the subscribing witnesses thereto, to have been signed and acknowledged by W. E. Hibbs in their presence to be his last Will and Testament, that they attested the same in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other-full capacity of mind of said Testaton at the time of making said Will was proved, and the same being fully proved as required by law, was admitted to probate and orderd to be recorded as the last Will & Testament of Wm. E. Hibbs, which with this cerfificate I have truly recorded in my office this 4" day of March, 1897. s/ W. B.
