Will Book A p. 364 In the Name of God amen I Simeon HALL of Bullitt County and the State of Kentucky being very much debilitated in body but be to god of sound mind and memory and knowing the uncertainty of life to think fit to dispose of the property which god in his providence has given me as Shall be satisfactory to me and which I do in the following Manner towit: first having commanded my Soul to god who gave it and my Body Buried as my friends may direct, I will that all my just debts be paid. I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Nancy HALL my Lands and tenants together with all the rents and profits accruing there or from them together with all my personal Estate of Every description whatsoever to be hers and only hers so long as she shall Remain a widow for her Support of any children so long as they shall be together and after the death of my wife Nancy if that shall happen before my children shall all become of Lawfull age in that case the property still to remain in common together untill the youngest girl shall become of Lawful age Except that a s they may marry and go out of the family they are to have out of my property so much as will make them Equal to what my daughter Polly OWENS has already had and my son John HALL is to have his choice of horse and one bed and furniture and my waggon and gear and after the death of my wife Nancy I give and bequeath unto my son John HALL the plantation whereon I now Live together with that which I purchased of Plesant PARIS together with all my farming utentials and after the death of my wife nancy if that should happen after my children should be of Lawful age or before when the youngest shall be of full age I will that all of my property Both personal and Real (?) not otherwise disposed of before and hereafter shall be Equally divided between my five daughters towit: Betsy, Polly, Sally and Nancy and Patsy HALL. I give unto Simeon PORTER and John HOLSCLAW ten dollars Each out of the money they is owing me so soon as it is collected and all the money that I have in hand and all that is owing me to be Kept on Interest and the Interest to be made use of for the Support of my family the principal to be exposed of in the following manner towit: my son John HALL is to have one hundred and fifty dollars when he is of Lawfull age the balance to be divided Equally between my five daughters at the death of my wife or as they become of age and leave the family. I do hereby appoint my beloved brother Clifton HALL and my Nephew Austin HALL my Executors to this my Last will and testiment, I do hereby Revoke all former wills made by me and discare this only to be my last will and testament. In testamony wherein I have hereto set my hand and affixed my seal this 29th day of March In the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and twenty. Simeon HALL and Nancy PORTER. She died a spinster. Bullitt Co. Will Book C page 134. In the name of God, Amen. I, Nancy HALL Jr. of the County of Bullitt, and State of Kentucky, being sin a lingering state of health, but thanks be to God of a sound mind and memory do think fit so to dispose of the property which God in his Providence has given me and which I do in manner and form following: First, after commending my soul to God who gave it, and my body buried as my friends may direct, First I give and bequeath unto my sister Elizabeth EVANS fifty dollars. Second, I give and bequeath to my sister Polly OWEN fifty dollars. Third, I give and bequeath to my brother in law David WILSON seventy five dollars for the use and benefit of his four children to wit: William M. WILSON, Frances S. WILSON, John I. WILSON and James H. WILSON, they being the children of my dec'd sister Patsy WILSON. And after the payment of the abovementioned legacies, it is my will and I do give and bequeath to my brother John HALL all the rest of my estate both personal, real and mixed, of every description whatever. I do hereby constitute and appoint Nathan my Executor of this my last will and testament, In Witness whereof I have herunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 30th day of November, 1840. Nancy HALL(seal) Witness: Austin HALL Gamaliel OWEN State of Kentucky, Bulitt County to wit: This last will and testament of Nancy HALL,Jr., deceased, was presented in open court on the 8th day of Febuary 1841 and proved in part by the oaths of Austin HALL, one of the subscribing witnesses thereunto, and on ythe 15th day of March1841 the same was again produced in open court and fully proved by the oath of Gamaleil OWEN the other subscribing witness thereto, and ordered to be recorded Which is truly done in my office.
