KY Will Book B p. 180 In the name of God Amen I SAMUEL HAMILTON of the County of Bullitt County, State of Kentucky being Sick but of sound mind and disposing memory and knowing the uncertainty of life that it is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following Towit: I give and bequeath all my Estate both real and personal unto my Wife MARY ANN HAMILTON for her Support during her natural life and at her death the balance of my remains to be equally divided between FRANCES JAMES and WILLIAM HAMILTON ELIZABETH TRISLER POLLY CROW DAVID SARAH BENJAMIN and JOHN HAMILTON. 2ndly I desire that none of my property neither Real nor personal be Sold but my Wife MARY ANN to keep use and improve the same for the benefit and Support during her life and at her death to descend as named above and lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my friend DANIEL STARK my Executor to this my last Will and Testament. JOSEPH CROW 13 Feb 1819 Nelson Co. KY Since the clerk used no punctuation I could not tell for certain how many kids there are here - assuming no middle names were given it looks like 9. Then again FRANCES JAMES could be a daughter with her married last name. This is why I have gone to putting all names in caps in a document. I just can’t always tell what is a last name and what is a given name and am tired of having those Tommy Lee WRIGHT (Tommy LEEWIGHT) moments
