Secondly that my funeral charges shall be paid also all my just debts paid. Thirdly I will and Bequeath unto my beloved wife MARY during her natural life my mansion house with all the Land Adjoining the house that I have now in possession & formerly bought by me of GIDEON BRISTOW Except two hundred Acres lying on the South Side of said tract tat I have sold or bargained for my two Sons by JOSEPH and JNO HARDMAN for the consideration of five dollars an acre in trade Each to have one hundred acres (as Soon as they obtain a deed for said Land) they must Execute their bonds to my beloved wife MARY for the amount of the Same in Such a manner as will entitle her and the Executors to pay to any of my children that what may hereafter come of age which share of it as in their judgement he or she or any of them may be Entitled to further that if my son JOSEPH or JNO HARDMAN Should pay GIDEON BRISTOW any money or trade in order to discharge a bond which s’d JOSEPH or JNO. shall be Entitled to thirty three and 1/3 per Cent for so doing, I also bequeath to my son JACOB Sufficient clothing and a comfortable maintenance from my Estate to be paid or allowed to him by my Executors During his natural life and to live if he thinks proper with any of my children. Should any of my Children now of the age of twenty one go and learn any Mechanical trade in that case he will only be Entitled to one fourth the share of my other Children Except JACOB who is as heretofore Inserted only entitled to his maintenance During his natural life after the Decease of my beloved wife MARY HARDMAN. I Divise that my Executors hereafter named do Sell to the highest Bidder all my Personal property that she may die possessed of and the proceeds of the Same & with that of the Land to her Equally Divided among my beloved children viz: ELIZABETH HOSTETTLER , JOSEPH HARDMAN, JNO HARDMAN, THOS HARDMAN, WM HARDMAN, SALLY HARDMAN, SQUIRE HARDMAN, JNO. HARDMAN be Entitled to credit of ____ (blotted) dollars which is to be dis _____ he is the land he purchased of me. I Constitute and appoint SAMUEL BROWN, JOHN CLARK and JOSEPH HARDMAN my Executors and my beloved wife MARY HARDMAN my Executrix of this my Last will and testament.
