KY Will Book C p. 178 This is to Certify that I herd THOMAS HARDMAN State on the early part of the day precading (?) his death, that he wished all his property to be left to the management of his wife as long as she remained his widow, that she might apply it to the maintaining of his children. Mr. HARDMAN at the time declared to be sane May 11 1841. (signed) B. M. WIBLE I NOAH SUMMERS clerk of the County court for said County certify that the foregoing noncupative will of THOMAS HARDMAN dec'd was on the 17 May 1841 marked and dated 11 May 1841, was produced in open court and duly proved by the oaths of JOSEPH HARDMAN and NANCY BARCLAY that said paper contained the true last will noncupative of said THOMAS HARDMAN Dec'd and said will was laid over for further proof and on this 21 June 1841 again in court duly proved by the oath of BENJAMIN M. WIBLE as witness to said paper that he wrote it at ---- request at his house in Bullitt County in his decedents last illness where said decedent was in his proper sences and that it contained the true last will noncupative of sā' decedent, whereupon at the request of the said JOHN HARDMAN said paper is ordered to be recorded as the true last will and testament noncupative of s'd THOMAS HARDMAN dec'd fully proved - which is truly done in my said Office.
