First. I will that my funeral expenses and just debts shall all be paid. Secondly. I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Martha JONES the farm on which I now reside containing one hundred and fifty three acres or thereabouts, also four slaves, Mariah, Mary, Peter and Eliza and their increase together with all my personal estate to have and to hold the same to her use and benefit so long as she the said Martha JONES shall continue to be and remain my widow, except so much of my personal estate including one thousand and seventy five dollars or thereabouts in Cash notes held by me as will pay for one tract of land purchased by me of Nelson KING Jr. adjoining the tract on which I now live, containing one hundred and two acres more or less - the deed to said tract of land to be made to my heirs, George Myett JONES, William Franklin JONES, James Riley JONES and Harden Shelburn JONES, my said wife Martha JONES to have and to hold the said tract of land for her use and benefit so long as she the said Martha JONES remains my widow.
