Bullitt County Will Book B p. 44
Agreeable to an order of the Bullitt County Court at the June Term 1824 we proceeded to 
Settle with GEORGE JONES administrator of JESSE JONES deceased and report the estate to the 
worth as follows viz:  

amount of personal estate after the debts being paid amounts to $863.92 cts..

Sale of two negroes MARIA and BEN $1000

amount of Land as per agreement between the legatees $1543.40 Cents amounting in the whole 
to 3368.32 Cents and after dividing the Land between the 8 legatees then appears to each one 
$420.98 Cents as per  below Given under Our hands this 22 Jun 1824

We the undersigned legatees of JESSEJONES deceased paid rec’d of GEO. JONES administrator of

above Commissioners this 22 Jun 1824

MILLY who goes on to marry JAMES WIGGINTON 13 Sep 1833 Bullitt Co. KY

I think GEORGE JONES is probably the same GEORGE JONES shown on the 1850 census with wife 
Elizabeth.  If so he should have been born about 1785.
