Bullitt Co. Will Book C p. 69
In the name of God Amen.  I MILES McDANIEL of the County of Bullitt and State of Kentucky 
being weak in body, but in sound mind and disposing memory for which I thank God, and 
calling to mind the uncertainty of human life and and being desirous to dispose of all such 
worldly estate as it has pleased God to bless me with, I give and bequeath the same in 
manner following towit. It is my desire after my death that my body be buried in a decent 
Christian like manner, and that all my just debts be paid.

Item 1.  I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife ROSANNE all the land I possess until my 
youngest child becomes of lawful age, if she remains so long my widow, but in case she 
should marry, she is not to have more than the one third part of my said land from that time 
and during her natural life and when my youngest child comes of age as before state it is my 
wish that my said wife and children dispose of said land in the best manner they can 
either by sale or otherwise and the proceeds of said land be equally divided 
between all my children.

Item 2nd.  I request that as much of my personal property be sold by my Executors as will 
pay all my debts and the balance of my said property to be kept on the farm for the use and 
benefit of my family.  I do hereby Constitute and appoint WILLIAM  MARAMAN Executor of this 
my last will will and testament.  In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed 
my seal this 5 July in the year of our Lord 1839.
