KY Will Book C p. 352 The Last will and testament of JOSIAH PORTER of the Town of Mount Washington, County of Bullitt and State of Kentucky. Know all men by these presents that I JOSIAH PORTER being of sound mind and memory do declare this to be my last will and testament and that no other will has been made by me. I will and bequeath to each of the sons of DAVID and PATSY WILSON viz WILLIAM McENDRE WILSON, FRANCIS SIMEON WILSON, JOHN SAMUEL WILSON, JAMES HARRISON WILSON, Twenty five Dollars each and in case of the death of either of the above named Children then his or their portion to revert to the other or others the money to be put out at interest until they severally arrive to the age of Twenty one years. I will and bequeath to JOHN COLLIER my Grandson and Son of CHARLES and ELIZA COLLIER the balance of my Estate and in Case of the death of said JOHN COLLIER his portion to be equally divided among the children of David and Patsy WILSON and I now appoint my Nephew JOHN HALL Guardian for each of the above Children with a earnest desire the he by precept and example may instil unto their minds the principles of moral and religious bearing in their conduct with their fellow creatures and above all a longing desire for that crown laid up in store for those who forsake the world that they through Christ may be made rich.
