KY Will Book G p. 30 I JOSEPH SANDERS of Bullitt County and State of Kentucky make this my last Will and Testament. First I will and bequeath to my youngest daughter ELIZABETH SANDERS a negro girl named FANNY, a horse and bridle a cow and calf, bed and bedding and fifty dollars in money. This is for the purpose of making her equal with the balance of my children which is about the amount of what the balance of my children have received. I also will and desire She shall have a negro woman named SUSAN about twenty four years old and her daughter ELA If she the said ELIZABETH SANDERS should die before She is twenty one years old without issue then the property which I willed her Shall return to my other children, and the other equal portion of my estate here after willed to her to descend and go to my other children with the exception of the negro woman SUSAN which Shall pass into the hands of my wife Judeth SANDERS during her natural life and then in turn to my other children. Whereon I have Sold a part of an undivided tract of land to JESSE P. LEWIS for two hundred and fifty dollars and the title of which is on my daughter ELIZABETH it is my will That when the Said ELIZABETH becomes of lawful age that she make the title or pay back the two hundred and fifty dollars out of the amount here willed to her. Second it is my will and desire that the farm and tract of land on which I now live on of four hundred and ten acres Shall not pass out of my family That the tract Shall be divided as to make two farms, that Dr. WM. D. STROTHER Shall have the part on which he now lives of two hundred acres commencing at the branch and running paralel with S. N. BROOKS and my line out to D. L. BROOKS tract and my Son GEORGE W. SANDERS the resideue of two hundred and ten acres, each portion of their land to be valued by commissioners GEORGE not to pay for that laid off as my wife s dower until he the Said GEORGE gets possession of it (that is their part of the land is to be deducted out of the payment of the land) It is my will that my Knob tract Shall be Sold privately and divided equally among my children. It is my will and desire that my executors hereafter named Shall sell and convey properly and pay all my just debts, if any, Settle and manage my business agreeable to this will. My slaves I wish to be Sold or divided among my heirs equally. Thirdly I will and bequeath all the residue of my estate not herein disposed of real, personal and mixed equally, to my children named ELIZA ELLEN who intermarried with NOLLY (NOTTY? ) W. BELMEAR, MARTHA BECKWITH who intermarried with JAMES Y. POPE, MARY MELINDA who intermarried with ALONZO MOREMAN, GEORGE WASHINGTON SANDERS, SUSAN JULIA who intermarried with WM. D. STROTHER and ELIZABETH SAUNDERS, reserving to my wife JUDITH SANDERS one third part of my whole estate, real, personal and mixed, during her natural life. Forthly and last I do hereby appoint my Son GEORGE WASHINGTON SANDERS and WM. D. STROTHER executors of this my last will and testament.
