The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net Transcribed by: livings1@aol.com Date: 09 Oct 2000 *********************************************************************** Bullitt County Will Book B p. 50 I ELISHA SIMMONS have intermarried with SALLY SIMMONS widow and divisee of THOMAS SIMMONS Dec’d and as her husband have received of JAMES SIMMONS executor of the last will and testament of the Said THOMAS all the Slaves, bonds notes accounts and papers and property of the said Estate of the Said THOMAS SIMMONS dec’d and I promise and bind my self my heirs Executors and administrators to pay all debts claims and demands against the said Estate and to perform the Said will or see it performed in the same manner and to the same extent that the said JAMES SIMMONS is bound to perform the said will and pay the Said debts the Said JAMES SIMMONS has assigned said bonds notes and accounts without recourse to me and this ---- is a full receipt and release to said JAMES for the whole of the said Estate. In witness where of I have here to Set my hand and Seal this fourth day of October one thousand eight hundred and twenty four.
