F.Troutman Febuary 13th 1909. Being of sound mind, I make this my last will. To W.H. Troutman and R.L. Troutman I give each three thousand dollars, to be placed by my executors on interest, said interest to be paid to them semi-annually, at thier death the principal to be divided equally with any older sisters and brothers, providing they are living, other wise to be divided with thier children, the girl children, if any , to recive double the amount each that the boys get in each family. where no girl children are living, then the boys shall share equally. To my sister, Minnie Humes and Ida Carroll, I give two thousand dollars , to be paid them within two years after my death. should eighter or both of them be dead at the time payment is to be made, then their children are to get the same. To my brother , J.H. Troutman I give two thousand dollars, to be paid in the same manor as Mrs. Hume and Mrs. Carroll, except if my brothet, J.H. troutman, is dead, then the above amount is to go to his children, the girls to get double amount of the boys. To my sister, Mrs. M.E. Meredith, I give three thousnad dollars , said amount to be put on interest and said interest to be paid her semi -annually ,at her death to go to her children, Claud to get one-third and Maud two-thirds,or if either of them is dead then it goes to thier children. All the remainer of my estae to be divided equqlly . To Tot Carroll, Bud Combs and Phill's boys I give what personal effects I may leave, such as guns, watch, furunture, clothes, trinkets, & c I appoint C.F. Troutman and J.F. Combs as my executors without bond. should eighter of them die before my estate is wound up. then the survivor may select someone to act with him if he so desires. shouls both die before winding up my estate. the wives of each shall select someone in thier place, provided it not a second wife, in such case when the surviving frist wife shall make the selection unless Bud Combs, Tot Carroll and Millard Troutman all or any two are living, then they shall select the person.
