Will Book D p. 28 15 March 1847 On the motion of Eliza TRUNNELL, widow of John TRUNNELL dec’d ordered that Benjamin W. RIDGEWAY, L. E. SCHULTZ, Thomas SUMMERS, Woodford McDOWELL or any two in conjunction with L. E. SCHULZ, S. B. C. be appointed Commissioners to lay off & allot the widow her dower. Benjamin W. RIDGEWAY, L.E. SCHULTZ and Woodford McDOWELL appeared before the Justice of the Peace, J.D.L. PEACOCK and submitted a small map of the dower right which is shown bordering the road from Shepherdsville to Mt. Washington “lying in Bullitt County between Floyd’s Fork and Salt River” and was bounded by THORNBERRY’s line, BRIDWELL’s heirs and Joseph RIDGEWAY’s line... containing 105 2/4 acres.
