Bullitt Co. KY Will Book B p. 23
In the name of God Amen I being low and Sick but in perfect Censes I make my last will and 
testament. 

I wish my negroe Girl SHARLOTTE to be Sold to pay my debts and as much other property as to 
pay off all my just debts.

I also give to my son THOMAS L. THURMAN a negro boy JESSE when my son comes of age of twenty 
five years of age.

I also give LYDIA to  my  wife ELIZABETH and her other increase during her natural life and 
also all and every part of my Estate to during her natural life and at her death the 
property to be equally divided Between all of my children and also at my Son THOMAS death 
the negro JESSE shall return to my son JAMES L.THURMAN.  

I have hereunto set my hand and affixt me Seal this Second day of March Eighteen hundred and 
twenty four.
