I Brittain WHITE of Bullitt County in the State of Kentucky being of sound mind, memory and understanding, do make, ordain and declare this instrument to be my last will and testament in manner and form following: that is to say I give to my oldest son Richard WHITE the plantation on where I now live containing one hundred and sixty five acres, considered worth Six hundred Dollars, being deeded to him, which conveyance binds him to provide for and take special care of his mother Susannah WHITE during her natural life. I also leave to my wife Susannah one feather bed and apparatus sufficient thereto belonging. At a final settlement of my estate, my oldest daughter Nancy ZILHEART is to be charged with one negro girl named Nelly worth three hundred worth three hundred dollars and one feather bed and Saddle, which she has received in advance of my Estate. My daughter Mary SIMMONS is to be charged with one negro girl named Sarah worth two hundred dollars, a bed and saddle which she has received in advance of my Estate. My daughter Elizabeth RENCH is to be charge with one negro boy named Adam worth two hundred dollars and bed and saddle which she has received in advance of my Estate. My daughter Eliza MARTIN is to be charged with one negro boy named George worth two hundred dollars, and bed and cow, instead of saddle, which she has received in advance of my Estate. My son Levy is to be charged with one negro boy named Say, worth two hundred dollars, and a horse, two saddles and a bed at the price of eighty dollars, which he has received in advance of my estate. My son William B. WHITE is to be charged with one negro boy named Nathaniel at the price of two hundred dollars and one hundred dollars in cash, and horse at the price of eighty five dollars and one bed which he has received of my estate in advance which is the full amount he is to receive of my estate and no more. My son James WHITE is to be charged with one yellow slave named Robert at the price of two hundred dollars and one hundred dollars in cash, and one horse at the price of fifty five dollars, and one feather bed which is the amount he has received in advance of estate which is the full amount he is to receive of my estate and no more. My daughter Ravia RALPH is to be charged with one negro girl named Rinda at the price of two hundred dollars, one mare a the price of fifty dollars, one saddle and one bed which she has received on advance of my estate, which is the full amount she is to receive and no more of my estate. My son Richard WHITE is to be charged with sundry cattle and hogs one mare, two beds and furniture and cupboard and furniture therein belonging to, one loom and apparatus and wheat fan, one cutting box and knife, all my tubbs and copper ware and all other articles relating to house hold and kitchen furniture, also my wheat, rye, corn and oats estimated and considered to the value of three hundred and fifty dollars. It is my desire my executors hereafter named will hire my negro man Peter to some fit person until he earns three hundred dollars should he live so long and then to obtain his freedom which money is to be applied in discharge of my debts if any there should be. Also my negro boy named Ned to be hired to some fit person until he is thirty years old if she should live so long and then to obtain his freedom. After paying all my just debts and expensses that shall arise in transacting the business respecting this my last will, the proceeds that shall arise from the hire of the two negro boys Peter and Ned, if any, there should be to be disposed of in the following manner that is to say: Nancy ZILHEART one part, Elizabeth RENCH, two parts, Eliza MARTIN, two parts, Levy WHITE , one part. I do hereby nominate and appoint my son-in-law Thomas J. MARTIN and Jonathan D. S. PEACOCK my executors of this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all former and other wills by me heretofore made.
