Tenatatively Named Kirby Cemetery Hill
Butler County, Kentucky


Undocumented cemetery located near Mining City in Dunbar, off of Hickory Camp Creek Road.  Visited by myself and others the first weekend in July. The most recent burial there was Billy Wayne Stinson on July 4, 2003. There are 4 headstones in this cemetery, one of which is my gr. gr. grandmother, but may be other unmarked graves.It Was referred to in pension files for James Kirby dated 1924 as Kirby Graveyard. Until last year, no one had been buried at the cemetery since 1908.
