Gary and Marie Gary, his wife of Welchs Creek of the County of Butler and State of Kentucky, of the first part, and W. O. Gary and Maggie Gary of Welchs Creek of the County of Butler and State aforesaid, of the second part: Witnesseth, that the parties of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of ($300.00) Three hundred dollars cash in hand paid. the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, have bargained and sold, and by these presents do bargain, sell, and convey unto the said parties of the second part, a certain tract or parcel of land lying in Butler County, Kentucky, and described as follows: Beginning at a stone at public road bearing from highway no. 105 to Barnetts lick running with said road about 80 rods to a stone in Joe Gary's line, thence South a straight line about 100 rods to a stone in Verdine Flener's line (now Ida Gary line) thence eastward a straight line to a stone corner to the Doran Flener line thence Northward a straight line to the Barnetts road the beginning corner, containing about fifty acres more or less The following appeared on the margin of the Deed October 3, 1940 By reason of a $200.00 payment on $500.00 lien note mentioned in deed from W. T. Gary & wife to Ivan Gary & wife as recorded in Book 48, page 483 the 50 acres mentioned in their deed is hereby released from said lien. Bank of Caneyville By O. W. Likins, Cashier p.300 being a part of the same land conveyed by W. T. Gary and Liza Gary to the grantor herein by Deed dated Nov. 7th 1939 and recorded in Deed Book No. 48, Page 483, records of the Butler County Court Clerk's Office. To have and to hold said tract of land, with the appurtenances thereunto belonging, unto the parties of the second part, their heirs and assigns, forever, with covenants of General Warranty. In testimony whereof, the parties of the first part have hereunto subscribed their names the day and date aforesaid. Ivan E. Gary Marie Gary STATE OF KENTUCKY} Sct. Butler County. } I, Jeff W. Hines, Clerk of the County Court of the County aforesaid do certify that the foregoing Deed from Ivan E. Gary and Marie Gary to W. O. Gary and Maggie Gary was this day produced to me, and duly acknowledged before me, in said County, by Ivan E. Gary and Marie Gary parties thereto to be their act and deed.
