Runner Baseball Game The baseball game between Provo and Morgantown was quite tight, scores stood 10 to 6 in favor of Provo. The game was pitched by J. R. Carson and Leach Benson the Provo pitcher and Leach for Morgantown. Leach struck out four, Benson struck out eight, Provo made 10 runs and 14 hits, Morgantown made 6 runs and 9 hits. There was a large crowd out to see the game and after it was finished everyone had the Provo yell, very sorry we had so much rain on account of the players from Morgantown getting beat and having the rain to fight on their way home. Hoping to get to play the game back soon. Provo Manager Column 7
