Marriage Bond
--
The Commonwealth of Kentucky
--
Be it Known, that we, William Embrey
as principal and Dr Mason Embrey
as surety, are jointly and severally bound to the Common-
wealth of Kentucky, in the sum of One Hundred Dollars.

The Condition of this Bond is as follows:

That, whereas Marriage is intended to be solemnized 
between the above bound William Embrey
and Elizabeth Lacefield
Now, if there is no lawful cause to obstruct said marriage, 
this bond shall be void, otherwise it shall remain in full
force and effect.
Dated at Morgantown, Butler County this 30th  
day of October 1863.

This is to certify that on the 30th day of October 1863 the 
Rites of Marriage were legally solemnized by me between
Wm Embrey and Elizabeth Lacefield at the residence of 
Lacefield in the County of Butler in the presence of John
Lacefield & James Willouby
