Nancy Wells, Settlement Book B, pp 179-180 (4/9/1870, 6/27/1870, 7/2/1870) p 179 [Left margin partly cut off] [S]ettlement [w]ith guar [Na]ncy Wells I T M Jones the presiding Judge of the Calloway County Court this day proceeded to make a settlement with P A Wells as Guardian of Nancy Wells daughter of R Wells Deced and find that as such he is Justly chargeable with one hundred and sixty three one receipt for Sixty three Dollars not furnished but the Money paid to ward she being now of age and receipt here filed Marked A which for one hundred Dollars which is all that came to his hand and __ __ to have fully paid off his said ward. Judges for for this Settlement 150 Clerks fee for recording same 130 All of which is most respectfully 280 to Calloway County Court April 9th 1870 T M Jones PJCCC I R E Beckham Clerk of the Calloway County Court in the State of Kentucky Certify that at a court held for said county at the Court house in Murray p 180 on the 27th day of June 1870 the foregoing Settlement with P A Wells Guardian for N Wells was produced in open Court having lain over one term as required by law Examined approved and ordered to be recorded by the Court.
