of New Mexico--Bureau of Public Health.

Date of birth:  2/11/1848.  Age:  79 yrs 8 mos 8 days.
Occupation:  Physician.
Birthplace:  Marshall Co, TN.
Father:  Robert C. Ivie, b TN.  Mother:  Nancy Walker, b TN.
Informant:  Sarah E. Ivie of Sedan, NM.
Attending physician:  Charles F. Milligan, MD, Clayton, NM, signed
10/20/1927.
Certified by attending physician:  That he attended the deceased from
10/8/1927 to 10/19/1927.  That he last saw him alive 10/19/1927.  That John
Lois died at 3:00 p.m.  That the cause of death was acute nephritis, the
duration of which was 14 days.  That there was no operation, no autopsy, and
no test to confirm diagnosis.
