Tho if one makes not his wants known he must never expect anything. A fellow prisoner at this place (an acquaintance of yours) gave me your name and address, stating to me that you would either send me money or clothing. Its true that I am needing boath, but I think it to expensive for one to supply another with money or clothing, so I shall not ask this of you. But I would be much obliged to you if you would send me a small Box of Provisions such as you would think would not spoil before reaching me. If the above is sent me you shall be repaid for it and your trouble in a future day. My address when at Home is Brundidge Pike County Alabama. Boxes are received daily by prisoners here, if you send the Box Direct it in this form Lt. P.W. Nicholson 15th Ala Regt. Care of Capt. Geo. W. Ahl A.A.A.G Fort Delaware.
