Taylor Madam As your naim has bin handed to me as one who would help the needy I therfer proseed to write you a few lines. It is through needsesity makes me attempt to do this. I am from Ga and have no communication with home whatever. I am hear without money & no way of getting any only through some unknown friend and if you would take my case in hand and send me a box of eatibles it would assure the same purpose as money. If I had the money I would spend it for something to eat etc., etc., etc. G.C. Camp P.S. If you send me a box of eatibles send some coffee also for it is a verry essential thing 1 or 2 a day. I hope I may live to get out of Prison & that I can reciprocte you for youre kindness etc., etc. The authorities hear are verry kind in letting Boxes come in to the Prisoners, etc., etc. Express the box in care of Capt.
