The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http: / www.rootsweb.com / ~usgenweb. ******************************************************************************* WILL OF THOMAS BAKER Thomas Baker of the county of Campbell and Commonwealth of Kentucky being in a low state of health but of sound and perfect mind and memory do make the following to be my last Will and Testament in the words and figures as follows, that is: first my Will is that Charlott Baker widow of James Baker deceased be exonerated from all the accounts charged against her or her husband in his lifetime. Second I give to Polly Baker one cow and calf that is now here and this is in consideration for her kindness to me during my sickness. Thirdly and lastly I give to my two brothers David and Samuel Baker all my estate after paying my just debts and funeral expenses and I wish my black mare to be sold and the proceeds of the sale applied in that way and I do hereby nominate the aforesaid David Baker and Samuel Baker my Exectutors of this my last Will and Testament thereby Revoking all former Wills and Testaments made by me in any wise. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 25 day of April 1842. Witnesses N.B. I give E.K.Spilman Henry E. Spilman fifteen dollars of my estate.
