E. Bridgwater, of LaCenter, was here this week. FELIX 2763 was bred by G. Goldwegg, Germany, and produces the best of horses and mares. Can show a pair of mares that have been shipped 1500 miles and can't be bought for $600. A 3 year old that was bred in Kentucky and foaled in Oklahoma, can be seen at Orville Redford farm. Season. $10. to inssure a colt to live. WILL COX Clifton Horrell spent a portion of this week in the northeastern section of the county, and reports that he did quite a deal of insurance business on his trip. J. M. Kemp, of Clinton, was in town Wednesday. Mrs. Lizzie Pace and daughter, Miss Reba, of Marshall county, are visiting at the home of the former's sister, Mrs. Emma Martin, and other relatives in this vicinity. J. M. Toon has been appointed postmaster at Fancy Farm. Mrs. Mollie Anderson died Tuesday morning at LaCenter after a long illness. HORN-BURNLEY Popular Couple Married at Dyersburg, Tenn Jas. R. Burnley and Miss Cora Horn left on the early train Wednesday morning, going to Dyersburg, Tenn., where they werre united in marriage at 6 o'clock Wednesday evening. From Newbern they were accoumpanied by Ed Martin and wife, the ladies being sisters. Mr. and Mrs. Burnley returned to Bardwell last night. The bride is a daughter of John Horn and wife, of this city, and is a justly popular young lady. Mr. Burnley holds the responsible position of sheriff of Carlisle county and is a gentleman who has many warm friends. We extend to them our sincere congratulations and trust that their sojourn upon this stage of action may be long and filled with joy.
