The repairing of Harry Green's store is nearing completion. It will be a great improvement to Milburn. A son of Rev. W. H. Williams has accepted a position in the hardware store of G. W. Perry and begun work Monday. Raymond Hastin has his tobacco barn about completed. Rev. Otto Lee, wife and son, of Wyoming, Ill., arrived Monday for a several day's visit to Mrs. Lee's parents, T. F. Owen and wife. Will Thomas died at the home of Frank Snow, west of town, Monday of consumption. Edwin Wilson is well of measles and Theodore Sanford has them. Prof. Hardin Graves, of Bardwell, was here Monday and everybody was glad to see him. Some of our young people went to Fancy Farm Sunday to attend services at St. Jerome's Catholic church. Rev. W. H. Williams delivered a fine sermon at the Baptist church Sunday. There was also services at the Christian church Sunday and Sunday night. Mr. John Bennett was very painfully hurt Monday. While helping to load a hog his middle finger was caught and almost torn off, the joint being bursted out. Mrs. Ann Lemons is on the sick list this week.
