With such information as is furnished by the files of this office. It appears from the rolls on file in this office that Tyree Boggs was enrolled on the 1st day of October 1861 at Carter County Ky in 22nd regiment of Kentucky volunteers to serve 3 years or during the war and was mustered into service as a private on the 18th day of January 1862 at Pike County KY. 22nd regiment. On the muster roll of that regiment for the months of March and April 1862 he is reported to have died at camp March 15th 1862 Cause of death not stated.
