Charles Albert Carper, 92, passed away October 26, 1994. Born Jan 16,1902 in Carter
Co. A son of  the late Charles and Clara Jane Smith Carper.  Preceded in death by
two wives, Anna Clifton Carper and Allie Johnson Carper.
A retired carpenter, former mail carrier, coal miner, and Grayson policeman; member
of Lower Grassy Church of Christ.  

Survivors: 6 sons, Ray, Ottis, Charles, Howard, Ralph and Dennis Carper; 4
daughters, Ruth Newman, Lucy King, Wilma Fouch and Edna Mae Wright; 6 stepsons,
Ralph, James L., Harold, Billy Watts, Junior, and Paul Johnson; 4 stepdaughters,
Mabel Kirkendoll, Cathy Dereski, Mary Blevins and Maxine March; a sister, Edith
Payne; 45 grandchildren; 73 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren;
several step grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements by Sparks Funeral Home. Burial in Everman Cemetery at Grassey,
Carter Co. KY.
