Pauline Humphrey, 81, passed away at 8:05 pm, Thursday, June 7, 2012 at her residence, with her loving family at her side, following an extended illness. Pauline was born in Elliott County, Kentucky on March 3, 1931 the daughter of William Sherman and Agnes (Johnson) Cline and came to this area in 1952 from Michigan. She was a very active and faithful member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church on DeForest Road, and the Ladies Auxiliary at the church. She enjoyed reading, cooking, quilting and especially spending precious time with her loving children and their families. Pauline is survived by a son and four daughters, Susan (Douglas) Brown of Niles, Deborah (John) Burleson of Niles, Leonard Duane (Susan) Humphrey of Jamestown, Penn., Theresa Sammartino of Youngstown, and Linda (Ronald) Oliver of Mineral Ridge; two sisters, Ruth Ann (Charles) Green of Niles, Evelyn (William) Bouts of Niles; brother, Thomas (Sandy) Cline of Mineral Ridge;17 grandchildren, Rebekah Wall, Michael Lusby, David Osborn, Shannon Brown, Rachel Bell, Helen Osborn, Catharine Osborn, Eric Humphrey, David Lusby, Steven Osborn, Christopher Sammartino, Jesse Sammartino, Megan Feldhouse, Jennifer Feldhouse, Christopher Oliver, Michelle Pounds, Amanda Kripcak, and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard W. Humphrey whom she married November 29, 1947 and who died on December 9, 1996; daughter, Alice Carol Humphrey who died on November 3, 2009; nephew, James M. Carpenter; two sisters, Georgia Carpenter and Alice Fay Campbell. Calling Hours will be Sunday, June 10, 2012 from 4 to 7 pm at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home and Monday, June 11, 2012 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church. The funeral will follow at 11:00 am at church with Pastor Douglas Brown officiating. Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
