The Daily Independent
Vera B. Jordan, 75, died Jan. 14, 2003.  She was born Oct. 2, 1927 in Boyd Co. Ky to
the late Benjamin and Katy Conley Click.  She was proceeded in death by her husband,
Rev. Clyde Jordan in 1983.  She was co-owner and operator of Jordan's Grocery in
Denton, a member of Gregoryville Christian Holiness Church and attended the Hitchins
Gospel Mission.

Survivors: three daughters, Linda (Merlin) McHenry, Joyce (Rick) Rogers, and Robin
Jordan; one son, Tommy (Carla) Jordan; three sisters,  Elizabeth Moore, Ruth Edmonds
and Lena Conley; two brothers, Paul Click and Curt Click; two daughters-in-law, Ruby
Jordan and Carolyn Jordan Hefley; 11 grand-children; three great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements by Sparks Funeral Home.  Burial in Denton Cemetery.  

Additional Comments:
She was also proceeded in death by three sons, Donald Jordan, Jerry Jordan and Bobby
Jordan; one daughter, Judy Jordan; one granddaughter, Jerri Lynn Harris; two
sisters, Grace Click and Madgie Carpenter; three brothers, Earl Click, Otis  Click
and William Click.
