Hazel Evelyn Fite Menix,80, died December 2,1995.  She was born November 18, 1914 in
Lewis County to the late Tom and Mary Madeline Kiser Fite. She was preceded in death
by her husband, Howard Menix in 1985.

She taught in the Carter County school system for more than 30 years and was a
Baptist.  
Survivors: three daughters, Dorthy Rae Hignite, Mary Elizabeth Menix and Betty
Brown; two sons, Phillip Thomas Menix and H. P. Menix; four sisters, Edith Nolty,
Dorthy Clifford, Vivian Reihs and Ora Myrtle Fauth; a brother, Claude Fite. 

Funeral services by Sparks Funeral Home. Burial in Menix Cemetery at Wolf.
