John F. Ramey died March 28, 1994 at the age of 81. He was born Aug. 27, 1912 at
Carter, son of the late George W. and Rebecca Littleton Ramey,  His wife, Irene Dean
Ramey died in 1992. 
Survivors: two daughters, Georgia Singer, Sissy Payne; two sons, Bill Ramey, Dean
Ramey; two brothers Ralph Ramey, Everett Ramey; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers: Wince Ramey, Halleck Ramey and Otto
Ramey; one sister, Ruth Ramey.
