Martha Frazier Richardson died October 3, 2002 at the age of 81.   She was born
December 24, 1920 in Carter County; daughter of the late Christopher Columbus
(Lum)and Pearl Hall Frazier. She was a homemaker and a Kentucky Colonel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cyrus Richardson; a son, Charles
Richardson; a daughter, Shirley Jean Richardson; a sister, Myrtle Clough, and a
brother, Sam Frazier. 

Survivors: four sons, Cyrus B. (Joyce) Richardson Jr., Carl Edward Richardson,
Ronald Patrick (Nancy) Richardson, James Christopher "Kit" (Annette) Richardson; two
brothers, James Frazier and Howard Eugene Frazier; a sister, Ida Richardson;  four
grandsons; three granddaughters; two step-grandsons; three great-grandchildren; and
two step-grandchildren.

Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg was in charge of arrangements.  Burial in the
Richardson Cemetery with a graveside service conducted by Brother Benny Watkins.
