Mr. Pennington was born at Carter City, KY, on August 18, 1885, a son of the late Floyd and Elizabeth Leadingham Pennington. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Virgie Cooksey Pennington; three daughters, Mrs. Glen Adams of Circleville, OH, Mrs. Howard Beaver of Kingston, OH, and Mrs. Glen Blevins of Louisa Route 4; three sons, Clyde and Ernest Pennington of Circleville and Walter Pennington of Chillicothe, OH; a sister, Mrs. Nathan Leadingham of Ashland, KY; two brothers, Willie Pennington of Circleville and Jesse Pennington of Waverly, OH, and 25 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Young Funeral Home.
