ROBERTS, Perry

1881-1965

Perry Roberts, 84, of Louisa, died at 7:15 p.m. Saturday in a Louisa hospital 
after an illness of a year. He was born January 11, 1881, in Carter County, a 
son of the late St. Clair and Ortha Adkins Roberts. Funeral services were 
conducted at 10:30 a. m. Wednesday at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with the 
Rev. J. C. Hager officiating. Burial was in Roberts Cemetery on Star Route. 
Surviving are 20 nephews and nieces, including Mrs. Elizabeth Ellis of Ashland, 
Mrs. Lena Queen of Rush, Mrs. Esther Woods of Mt. Sterling, OH, and Mrs. Doshia 
Kouns, Mrs. Lucille Mulkey, and Mrs. Marie Carey all of Louisa. Big Sandy News,
