Vaughn 12 1/2 acres of land by virtue of entry made at the surveyors office of Casey County March 26th 1883 on a part of two Casey County Court Land warrants which issued at a call Term Dec 12th 1877 for 73 acres the other a call Term Jan 5th 1880 for 15 acres Situated in Casey County on the waters of Riffe Creek a branch of Green River & bounderied as follows [to wit] Beginning at three beeches at Crockett corner thence with his line S48W48 poles to a beech & hickory corner a 123 acre survey made in the name Carter [?] Evan thence with the linesof said survey N83E40 poles to a beech & hickorythen S53E45 poles to a stake at the edge of the ? road ? N45 19 poles to a white oak " into a 150 acre survey made in the name of Nash and Dosia Evan thence with a line of same N37W31 poles to a white oak stump with a white oak & gum / ? original conveyor Crocketts 50 acres survey thence with a line of said survey N65W ? 42 poles to the beginning.
