Casey Co. - Allen to Vaughn Land Indenture
  
This Indenture, witnesseth that we, William Allen & Sarah Jane Allen his
wife , for the consideration of two hundred & eighty dollars to be paid as
follows viz , one hundred and fifty dollars in hand here & one hundred and
twenty five dollars in Eighteen months from this date here and do by these
present bargain sell & convey to William Vaughn a certain tract of parcels
of land in Casey County Ky on the waters of East Casey Creek being a
portion of a 77 acre tract of land conveyed by Bery ------- Sweeney to
Jonathan SweeneySept 24th 1875 which subsequently sold by said Johnathan
Sweeney to G W Earls & by him to G G Beatty & sold by commoncource [?]  a
payment of Casey County Ciruit Court & purchased by & conveyed to said
Johnathan Sweeney and being and continuing all that portion of land 77
acre tract which lies North East of the publick road from Liberty to
Bradsfordsville which runs through 
said acres supposed to be about 18 Acres of boundary taken for more or
less  2nd tract on the Ridge  & waters of East Casey Creek  beginning at a
stone in G W Earls line & with same S 85 E 100 poles to a poplar & hickory
Earls Corner thence N 50 E 24 poles to a white oak & hickory thence with
Jesse Edwards line N 28 W 76 poles to a black oak hickory & dogwood
Edwards Corner, thence N 43 W
28 poles to a hickory at the forks of a branch thence upon the west fork
of the seventy with its measures S 85 W 26 poles to a beech & chestnut in
dsaid branch S 21 W 100 poles to the beginning containing 48 acres
boundary taken for more or less To thence over to polesa unto the said
William Vaughn and his assigns forever the afore said  Corner &
appertincious -[?] & we the said William Allen  & wife do by thence
presents you & witness the said title thereto free from all claims
whatever given under our hands this 11th Dec1875

The foregoing deed was on this 11th day of December 1875 before December
1875 before me acknowledged by William Allen and Sarah Jane Allen his wife
