For and in consideration of fifteen dollars in hand paid, the receipt of
which is hereby acknowledged, we George W Vaught and Mary Vaught, his wife,
hath sold unto John C Watson, all of the County of Casey and State of
Kentucky, one sixth part undivided of one hundred and ninety acres which is
part of the following boundary of land lying and being in this county and
state aforesaid, on the Rock Lick Fork of Fishing Creek and bounded as
followeth: Beginning at poplar corner to Hunts Military survey then N 52
degrees W 236 poles to an ash sapling and a black oak in Hunts line, then S
45 degrees E 124 poles to a chestnut tree then N 80 degrees E 130 to a
hickory then S 9 degrees E 8 poles to a birth then N 67 degrees E 46 poles to
a hickory then N 17 degrees W 130 poles to the beginning containing two
hundred ninety acres being the tract of land which Perigo Watson died siezed
and posession of the title of the one sixth part of the aforesaid tract. We
forever warrant ad defend unto the said John C Watson from the claim or
claims of all and every person whatsoever given under our hands this 17 day
of October, 1859.

I John Humphrey deputy clerk for Joel Sweeney, Clerk of the County Court for
the aforesaid county certify that the written deed from George W Vaught and
Mary Vaught, his wife, to John C Watson was this 17th day of October, 1859
produced to me by grantors and before me acknowledged said writing to be them
and deed given under my hand this 17th day of October, 1859.
