DEED: Watson to Stanton - 1826 - Casey County, Kentucky Casey County Kentucky Deed Book 3 Page 69 P Watson to Wm Stanton This indenture made and entered into this 1st day of September 1826 between Pedigo Watson and Nancy Watson of the one part of Wayne County and State of Kentucky, and William Stanton of Casey County aforesaid, witnesseth that the said Pedigo Watson and Nancy his wife, for consideration of a sum of one hundred and twenty dollars, to them paid in hand by the said William Stanton, be for the sealing of these premises, whereof he the said Pedigo Watson and Nancy his wife for the receipt of the same doth acknowledge that he hath bargained snf sold the aforesaid William Stanton one hundred twenty acres of land, lying and being in the County of Casey and state aforesaid, on the ridges of Rock Lick Fork of Fishercreek , bounded as follows to wit: beginning at a poplar and gum on the line of Hunt's military survey, then N 52 W 80 poles to an ash sapling and black oak then S 77 W 92 poles to a black oak, then S 26 W 86 poles to a poplar thence S 45 E 124 poles to a chestnut the corner of the conditional line between Watson and Haidland, thence a straight line to the beginning, the said Pedigo Watson and Nancy his wife, causes with its appertainances to have and to hold the said tract of land to him, the said William Stanton, his heirs and assigns forever, and we Pedigo Watson and Nancy his wife, do warrant and defend the said tract of land from us and our lawful heirs and representatives and assigns and all prices. In witness whereof we set our hand and seal this 25th day of October, 1826.
