She was a strict member of the Baptist Church and leaves a large family and a host of friends to mourn her loss. The infant of Will Woodrum was buried at Poplar Grove recently. Ray Cravens and Miss Anna White, of Kidd's Store, were united in the holy bonds of matrimony last week. W. T. Holt officiating. George Holt, of Bloomington, Ill., is visiting relatives at this place after an absence of eight years. George Stapp and family of Mo., have returned to make this their future home. Charles Campbell and Myrtle Hendrickson, of Roley, drove Liberty Tuesday and were married. R. P. Smith and wife are visiting the latter's father Jas. Cravens at We__bs Z Roads. Henry Wilkinson left Tuesday for Celina, Texas. Judge J. Boyle Stone will spend Xmas with his daughter, Mrs. G. P. Crow in Danville. Mrs. Wallace Steele of Ellisburg, is very low with cancer of the stomach. Mr. F. L. Woolford, of Hamilton, O. visited his father G. D. Wolford from Thursday to Saturday. Mr. J. R. Carson, and daughter Miss Permelia, of Phil, visited Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Cundiff Monday. Estell Lynn and Miss Stella Lee, of Rheber, were married Saturday at the home of the bride. Mrs. Ida Garrison and son Hugh, of Danville, attended court here Monday. Mr. Herbert Warriner, of Lexington will arrive this week to spend Christmas with his mother Mrs. Ann Warriner. Rome Wheeler and wife, of Phil, visited the latter's parents Robert Crockett and wife Saturday and Sunday. Clell Crockett , of Newcastle, Ind., will spend Christmas with his parents in old Kentucky. Cecil Giboney has returned to his home at Ardmore, Okla. after several months spent with his grandfather, J. T. Coulter. J. P. Walters and wife, of Decatur, were with their daughter here last week, Mrs. O. C. Russell. An infant of Oscar Cochran died at Celeste, Monday of Whooping cough and was buried at Poplar Grove, Tuesday. The stork left a fine son at the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. Powers on the 16th. Frank Coppage and wife, of Illinois, are the guests of Stephen Peyton. Mrs. E. M. Reynierson has returned from an extended visit to her sons in Marion County. Blue Smothers and family arrived from Florida recently and will move to John Minor property. J. C. Lanham and Miss Daisy Railey drove to Liberty where they were united in the happy bonds of matrimony.
