LIBERTY -- Hester Elizabeth Marple Allen, 89, of Butcher Street died 
Sunday at Liberty Care Center.

Born Jan. 28, 1913, in Atterson, she was the daughter of the late B. 
Roy and Nancy Belton Marple. She was the widow of Ubert Allen. She
 was a homemaker and member of Gum Lick Christian Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Datha Eubanks of Cincinnati, Ohio, 
and Nelda Harlow of Liberty; a brother, Kermit Marple of Cincinnati; 
nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grand-
child. She was preceded in death by a son, Edris Allen.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel by 
the Rev. Stephen Martin. Burial will be in Whited Cemetery.

Visitation is after 6 p.m. today.
