LIBERTY -- Elsie L. Bartle, 76, of Liberty died Monday at Ephraim 
McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Hartford, Conn., on Dec. 13, 1926, she was the daughter of 
the late Kenneth Larkum and Helen Davis Martel. She was formerly 
employed by Drs. Sweeney and Wesley and Casey County Hospital. 
She was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Janice B. Hughes of Frankfort 
and Betty Bartle Clark of Liberty; a son, Billy J. Bartle of 
Liberty; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a 
brother, Albert Larkum of Hartford, Conn.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Bartle Funeral Home by the 
Rev. Bob Johnson. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.

Visitation is after 4 p.m. Wednesday.
