Born May 26, 1953, in Boyle County, he was the son of Attis and Opal Roy Bernard of Dunnville. He was a member of Thomas Ridge Christian Church. Other survivors include two daughters, Ashley Bernard and Nancy Luster, both of Dunnville; a son, Michael Bernard of Dunnville; two stepsons, Robert and Billy Stanton, both of Russell Springs; a brother, Johnny Bernard of Russell Springs; and a granddaughter. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Clifton Cowan. Burial will be in Thomas Ridge Cemetery. Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Tuesday.
