Born May 10, 1907, in Casey County, she was a daughter of the late Daniel Boone and Cynthia Beasley Eastham. She was a retired nurse's aide from Central State Hospital and Kentucky State Hospital. She was a former member of Southern Avenue Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen Boyd and a son, Charles A. West. Survivors include three daughters, Jean Grenell and Peggy Dupin, both of Louisville, and Rosemary Houpe of Cincinnati; a son, Billy Joe West of Louisville; a sister, Rose Smith of Franklin, Ohio; a brother, Otha Eastham of Danville; 26 grandchildren and 35 great- grandchildren. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Stith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. Visitation is after 3 p.m. today and after 5 p.m. Monday. James Kelly. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. She died Friday at Charleston Health Care Center. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Visitation is after 5 p.m. today.
