Born June 29, 1917, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Shelby and Mittie Southerland Wilcher and was the widow of Allen Brewer. She was a retired employee of Cricketeer and Palm Beach Co. and belonged to Danville Church of Christ. Survivors include three daughters, Dottie McGirr of Danville, Helen Grubbs of Versailles and Gayle Bandy of Perryville; two sisters, Virginia Gray of Harrodsburg and Orine Gibson of Perryville; two brothers, Virgil Wilcher of Wilmore and Frank Wilcher of Gravel Switch; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 11 step-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Sharp. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Perryville. Visitation is 5-9 p.m. Friday. Memorials may go to Heritage Hospice.
