Born April 4, 1939, in Casey County, he was the son of the late Will and Ida Belle Coffman. He was a farmhand and factory worker and a member of First Assembly of God. Survivors include two brothers, Davey "D.J." and Albert "Buss" Coffman, both of Liberty; and a sister, Catherine Compton of Liberty. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Dwight Coffman. Burial will be in Tapscott Cemetery. Visitation is after 6 p.m. Monday at Bartle Funeral Home.
