LIBERTY -- Mattie Murphy Decker, 84, of Tazewell, Tenn., formerly of C
asey County, died Friday.

Born Sept. 5, 1918, in Casey County, she was a daughter of Lucy Murphy 
and the late George Wesley Murphy. She was the widow of Claude Decker.

Survivors include three daughters, Evelyn Hopper and Juanita Russell, 
both of Tennessee, and Olowen Elmore of Liberty; a son, Johnny Decker 
of Indiana; two sisters, Myrtle Harmon of Danville and Helena McDonald 
of Liberty; two brothers, Sherman and Edward Murphy, both of Liberty; 
seven grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Services will be noon Monday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Clifford 
DeHart. Burial will be in Luttrell Cemetery.

Visitation is after 6 p.m. today.

Pallbearers will be grandchildren.
